I think the WA man is making a very strong statement causing a lot of us to take a second look at where our emphasis is on Christmas. After reading a recommended book on St. Nick from this site, I can't say today's American Santa Claus much resembles St. Nick of time past. . .it's almost a stretch to make the correlation. As a parent, our children have so much that they take most things for granted and think they need more. For them it's easy to lose site of the real joy of Christmas. Back to Pastor Steve's messages, What does God want for Christmas vs. What do I want for Christmas.

Was the woman pregnant? Cause right now, I'm nearly convinced that pregnant women are subject to do just about anything. Ok -- so that's not an excuse, but she really has lost track of what it's all about. I have a hard time waiting with my gifts too, so Jeremy just knows better, he gives them to me to open immediately! I love it!!!

I find things like this to be very offensive. Anyone else hanging on a cross is a true mockery of what Jesus did in suffering and dying for your sins.

As for the woman, who stabbed her husband for opening his Christmas present early, perhaps she should have put a tag on it that said, "Do not open till Christmas." I guess Christmas came early for him, but with an unexpected surprise.
