Making very little eye contact can convey
•	shyness
•	submissiveness
•	nervous 
•	bored
•	less approachable
•	unsure of what you're saying
Or …
•	superiority
•	lack of interest
To fight this, actively force yourself to
•	look up
•	… but don’t stare
•	look around
•	… but don’t turn away
A fixed, unfocused stare or if your head or whole body is turned fully away to one side, away from people
•	shows your attention is elsewhere 
•	(unless it’s crowded?)
Although a direct stare 
•	romantic interest
•	intensity
•	aggression
•	fear
So, what I’ve learned is we need to perfect “the gaze”
•	confident
•	interested
•	secure
•	at ease
•	calm
If you see me looking into your eyes, interpreted it as:  I like eyes!</description>
