My favorites have to be “Breathe of Heaven” or “Mary, did you know”. Two songs that I listened to a lot when I was due to have my own baby in December 11 years ago. It really made Christmas come alive for me that year to relate so closely to Mary traveling on a donkey and having a baby in a cave with animals.
My favorite CD is “The Music of Christmas” by Steven Curtis Chapman, favorite song from it is “Our God is With Us”. I listen to it year round to remind me He IS with us-always.
In high school, I was in swing choir. We dressed in white and held two candle holder bowls in our hands with lit candles in them. We sang, “Silent Night” as we danced, and the lights were off. It was quite powerful. Most public schools would not allow their music departments to do performances like that anymore. Praise God we could in the 1980s!

This year I would have to say Little Drummer Boy is at the top of my list.
God gives us each gifts
I love the idea of offering those gifts back to the king.
