After much consideration and long deliberations, the winning name has been chosen for our penguin. We waited a week to give everyone a chance to weigh in, and this contest was by far our most commented on blog entry.
Thanks to everyone who contributed, and congratulations to Joe! Our penguin has been named Peng Nguyen. (For those of you not familiar with eastern names, Nguyen is pronounced “Win”.)
The Philly Burbs named the penguin the best idea for holiday decorating this year. Saying that they are, “Sorta seasonal, not at all religious, non-commercial, and not as threatening as, say, polar bears.” But what we see when we look at Peng is that all of creation praises God.
