“An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid.” Luke 2:9-10
Angels are real! The Bible says they are “ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation.” (Hebrews 1:14) The word angel means messenger. Real angels bear little resemblance to the little cute chubby winged cherub on your mother’s mantle. Each time one appears in the Bible, the first words out of their mouth are “fear not.” Little fat babies don’t evoke that kind of response. Real angels are a fearsome, awesome sight.
Advent means arrival or his coming. Angelic visitations preceded the coming of Jesus the first time. This advent season lets ask God to release angels into our city to prepare the way for Jesus’ coming. Ask God for eyes to see them. We don’t worship them, but they are there to serve us. Ask God to release angels over our city to bring the atmosphere of heaven to this part of the earth. For every demonic spirit operating in our city, ask God to release ten angels.
PRAYER: Thank you Lord for angels! Release them now into the city of Sioux Falls. Help us be hospitable and host them well. We know that sometimes we entertain angels and we are unaware of it. Open our eyes to this realm of the supernatural. God, release the ministry of angels – we want it to be here on earth as it is in heaven. In your name, Amen.

There is no doubt in my mind that Angels of God protect us daily, if we but ask. I’ve often said that to my wife, children, my guardian angel must be very patient, loving, protecting., overworked?
It is my belief that it would be well taken if we thank God daily for His guardian angels watching over us. For me, I have been in situations that were not always the best places to be. I know the angels have guided me through my darkness, to lead me to the light, and the promise of My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. .
