Some folks give me a bad time about it but "Is that your best price?" (a Dave slogan) has saved me bundles of $$$$. I don't know about you but those savings are just as good in my pocket as the ones who are serving me! Besides I have more money to share with others which honers the God I serve! And that makes me glad.

Oh wow...I remember doing Financial Peace a few years ago. At the time, I had destroyed credit, 6 different credit cards to pay off plus a defaulted student loan. I didn't know how to live on the money I had so I pawned my nice 5 disc cd boombox for 15 bucks.
After taking Ramsey's course, which was offered at another church at the time (CATG wasn't doing it yet), I started the "debt snowball." Contrary to my instincts, I started paying off the lowest balance credit cards first instead of the ones with the highest interest. Dave was right. It was so encouraging and helped my confidence beyond belief to see each balance go down to zero one by one.
I payed off EVERY dime in about a year...except for current student loans in good standing a little over 2 years ago.
People with debt who don't see an end to it...the end is there. Trust me. I payed mine even though I made very little money at the time. God is good...he wants us out of debt and able to give to HIM, not to the credit card companies who charge 29% interest on defaults!
GO DAVE!!!!!

I would love to share how Financial Peace University changed my life! Here are just a few ways:

*My husband and I are on the same page about money, we have shared goals and agree on how to get there.
*I don't lose sleep worrying about where the money will come from to pay the bills. (AKA peace)
*We have payed off all our debt except the house.
*We tithe and have discovered the joy of giving. Giving is a blast!

I could go on and on, but you get the idea. If you think you can't afford to attend Financial Peace, you are exactly the person who needs to go! Dave is energetic and fun to listen to, you will not be bored - you will be motivated! Change your life - GO!

One of my favorite sayings of Dave's is: "Normal is broke, be weird!" Does anyone else have a favorite quote?
