Who is next door or across the street from you tonight? The “Reason for the Season” would like to know, “What will you do to help those in need this year? When you’re going through the drive through, pay for your food or beverage as well as the person’s behind you! :) Try it at Starbucks!

I think I’m going to try to buy a bunch of mittens at a $1 store or some plain coffees some cold day and just hand those out downtown.

We decided this year we are going to give a gift on behalf of some of our family to Africa Mission Alliance. It’s a great organization and a gift of textbooks or a goat for a family is a great way to remember those with the most basic of needs. www.africamissionalliance.org
    Check it out!

A number of people in our church send gifts to a nursing home for those residents who have no family to connect them to Christmas. The nursing home gives each such resident a number and tells us whether that resident is male or female and what particular needs of a gift nature that person might have. Each donor then sends a gift or several to that unknown person to make their Christmas a happy one.

“Far Away Places” A song I may have sung as a young man..

Johnny Cash and I believe Roy Clark were baby Christians, (aren’t we all), at that time. Johnny in the later years wore black to signify the suffering world wide,he was the man in black. I believe we all can hear the strengh of his belief’s in his music.

Funny story about Roy Clark, years ago, he said the funniest thing that ever happened to him, he was in an examination room with a doctor, and a nurse was also there. Most of us know the exam is not the most pleasant thing to have performed on your body. He said, while he was in the position he had to get in, the nurse said to him “Mr. Clark may I have your autograph?” Said he laughed so hard, the doctor had to hold him to keep him from rolling off the table.

    God Bless bob
